Help with bench at Merryhill, June 2001
BADFA designed and procured, and helped install, a bench on Merryhill (Woodland Trust) land for the Bushey Heath Ladies Millennium feature. The Friends of Attenborough's Fields and Ramblers' Association man Colin Knight, did most of the hard work during the day. The Ladies insisted the bench had a back so a new design was tried, slightly less solid than BADFA's standard bench, but heavy oak nevertheless. It needed four people to lift it into the dug holes.
