BADFA's response to
Consultation on joint orders Sch 5 para 2 of CROW 2000 Act

Consultation on public registers Sch 5 para 2 & Sch 6 paras 4 & 15 of CROW 2000 Act

These two consultations indicate the implementation of two matters introduced by the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000 (CROW 2000).

The replies are on this site, see below, but they really need to be seen in the context of the consultation documents. The consultation documents and BADFA's replies may be seen by arrangement. E-mail chris@badfa,org.uk.

The first one avoids the silly business of getting a path order to confirm a route is truly a public path, and then having to make another order to get it onto the definitive map. See two order response here.

The second creates registers containing useful information on claims to put paths on the map and requests for diversion orders and statutory declarations by landholders as to their paths.  See the registers response here.
