Aldenham 39 'a fairly insignificant path' as a councillor once called it. Yes, not major, but if we can't get simple ones like this sorted out, especially as here where the land is owned by the County Council itself, what hope is there for the more important ones?

All but the last three photos, below, are March 2007.

BADFA has been promised a new BS kissing gate to replace the vehicle damaged entrance stile. That is great.

We would like to see the stile in the fourth photo go too, and the unnecessary one by the ploughed field at High Cross.

We would like to see firmer enforcement of the ploughing laws.

The start, waiting for insurers, usable, but why no route cleared?

Clearly in use

A small tree down

The stile, about four years old, not to any known standard.

Across the field, marked but not cleared.

Hedge/ploughing encroachment

Sign post not fully compliant. It is a short path, but deserves destinations to encourage its use

Cropping history not too good, and see two photos below too.
