Weather excellent, good turnout. We were able, because of the figure of eight route, to leave our picnic things near Aldenham Church. Some picnicked on the Green, others visited the social club.

Festival Walk through Harrow Weald Common, Bentley Priory and Stanmore Common
Leader: David Bearfield
Over 50 people turned up, despite the weather not looking too good. As it happened, we had almost no rain at all. Bentley priory area and summerhouse lake was great and David found a flowery, grassy spot for our picnic. Several people hadn't known of the route from Harrow Weald Common to the Priory area.

There was a last minute route change due to the obstruction of the official path and the muddiness of the alternative path due to horses. The weather held up with some sunshine.
